    About Our Dealership

Joe Breton's enthusiasm about quality and performance in automotive products is a product of a diverse background and experience. Joe has done virtually all his own work on his vehicles since he started driving in 1976, when, at age 16,he bought his first car, a high mileage 1970 Toyota Corona. This car had a bad camshaft and was running on only three cylinders, but it was all he could afford. He put in a junkyard cam and did body and mechanical work to keep it running for four years until he could afford something better when he graduated from college. When you do your own work, you are more attuned to performing preventive maintenance, and using quality products, like lubricants.

When Joe first heard of synthetic lubricants in 1992, he was excited about what appeared to be a big leap in technology. Unfortunately, he did not know that Amsoil had created the very first API-rated fully synthetic motor oil 20 years earlier. He heard about Mobil-1 and began to use it, even though the product did (and still does) come with very little published data to help an individual assess its true performance. He was not aware that for a similar price, he could buy Amsoil and (unlike Mobil-1) greatly extend the vehicle manufacturer's oil change interval, sometimes by 5-fold or more, making Amsoil an excellent money-saver. And all the claims were backed by published data and a written warranty. This was important to Joe, who is a Registered Pharmacist by training and knows the importance of thorough testing and publication of the results when marketing products to potential buyers. Advertising claims are one thing, and are often not backed by data. Not so with Amsoil products.

After first buying Amsoil at retail, Joe decided to become a Preferred Customer. He put Amsoil in the engines, transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials of all his vehicles. Whenever he bought a new vehicle, he changed all the fluids to Amsoil at the first oil change. Being familiar with the data, products, and the money-savings and performance improvements he saw in his own vehicles, Joe became a believer and decided to become an Amsoil Dealer when he retired from the Air Force. He currently has a growing business including personal retail sales, Preferred Customers, Retail (storefront) Accounts, Quick-Lubes, and commercial fleets.
